2 N 1 Marriage Ministry
Word Alive Church 2 N 1 Marriage Ministry believes Genesis 2:24 is God’s call for every Christian marriage, where a man leaves his father and mother and he and his wife become one flesh.
This ministry seeks to place the spiritual development of couples as the primary goal of godly couples and from here marriages are encouraged through social and recreational activities that honors God and builds unity within the marriage union. Couples are encouraged to unite together with other Christian couples in a non-threatening environment that allows each couple to relate and respect one another and address common marital challenges, share testimonies that reveals God’s grace to heal marriages as well as the joy of knowing that God’s love never fail.
Word Alive Church Prayer Ministry
Word Alive Church Prayer Ministry believe the words Jesus spoke in Luke 18:7 (Amplified) “And will not (our just) God defend and protect and avenge His elect (His chosen ones), who cry to Him day and night? Will He defer them and delay help on their behalf?”
These prayer warriors fully believe God not only hears, but answers the cry of the righteous that are persistent in their faith in prayer. They consistently cover God’s house, God’s people and God’s plan for Word Alive Church through intercessory prayer. They meet monthly for prayer, they receive prayer request daily and respond accordingly, they serve at the altar in praying for others, they conduct community prayer walks, they unite with the church every Tuesday from 6:00pm-7:00pm for covenant prayer time from respective locations.
Children’s Ministry
How great it is to be in a setting experiencing authentic spirit-filled worship and anointed teaching of God’s word and having the comfort and peace of mind knowing your children are having the same experience in a safe setting conducive for their ages. Word Alive Church has prayed and prepared such a place called “Children’s Ministry.”
The teachers are not only skillful, but passionate and gifted by God to serve our precious children. Various methods of teaching are used (i.e. stories, puppets, costumed characters, drama, etc.). Children find learning about the Word of God and ways of God a joy and they experience an environment that is safe and fun. The goal is to prepare an army of children who will be equipped to share God’s love and word with others throughout the world.
Kingdom Men’s Ministry
A ministry of men who have resolved that God’s word is the only option for men who desire to lead by godly example, wisdom and power. Word Alive Church Men’s Ministry consists of men who serve in various capacities in God’s house as well as in the secular world.
However, when we come together, we are portraits of grace that seek to be as iron sharpening iron in encouraging and imparting God’s counsel and covenant instructions to others. We connect in various settings such as: Men’s Bible Study, Prayer Gatherings, Monthly Men Talk Gatherings, Recreational Activities, Sporting Events, Outreach Projects, Our Boyz 2 Men Ministry, Men’s Conferences and Community Events. We join in with Men’s Ministries of kindred hearts of other ministries for times of edification and enrichment.
Kingdom Women’s Ministry
WOMEN ARE JEWELS FILLED WITH THE RICHNESS OF GOD’S GRACE AND GLORY.
The Kingdom Queens of Word Alive Church is a ministry whereby women of all ages can find a loving and healing environment that provides spiritual, emotional and social fellowship that builds from the inside out. They connect in various ways in order to build genuine relationships that provide edification, encouragement and godly counsel.
They believe as they walk in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will speak to their hearts in times of refreshing through Women’s Conferences, Women’s Sabbaticals, and connecting with other Women’s Ministries of kindred hearts. They are missional at heart and trust God to open doors for them to go outside the walls of the church and minister to women who are in challenging situations of their lives and need the healing oil of Christ power flowing through godly women who are filled with the Holy Spirit and anointed to minister God’s healing grace to other women and teenage girls.
Successful Singles Ministry
Word Alive Church Successful Singles Ministry is a ministry consisting of males and females of various age groups. They are complete in Christ and have learned the blessing of true contentment in whatever state they may be in. They provide leadership, mentoring, and support throughout the church.
They are truly anointed in living out God’s wisdom in 1 Corinthians 7:32 which says, “He who is unmarried cares for the things of the Lord – how he/she may please the Lord.” They connect in a variety of ways and with other singles ministries in order to encourage spiritual, emotional, relational and financial well-being while soaring as God’s BEST (Blessing – Excellence – Success – Triumphant) in the earth.
New Members (Planted to Prosper)
“Those who are planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92:13, NIV)
These are the newly born saints as well as seasoned saints who have sensed the leading of the Holy Spirit that confirms that Word Alive Church is a place for them to be planted and prosperous in their Christian journey.
These six week classes are designed to get the new members acclimated into the fellowship of Word Alive Church and be informed of the doctrines of the Church. They are afforded the opportunity to have a personal touch with the Pastor, First Lady and Leadership of Word Alive Church. Saints are provided a platform to engage in active participation with questions and inquiries concerning their new Church family. These classes are conducted on Sunday mornings from 9:00am-10:00am.
